As the replacement motor was a genuine Dyson part I had no problems with fitting it myself and the results were perfect

Following a recommendation from a friend to try this site to replace the motor on my dyson hoover, i found that the site was very easy to navigate and placing te order was just as easy.The part was ordered Monday, shipped Tuesday and arrived Wednesday.What more can i say except many thanks and keep up the great service.(Something most of the high street retailers seem to lack.)

Dyson vacuum motor

This motor is easy to fit but you will need the fitting instructions if you are not in the trade. The motor purchased is of very good quality and was an exact fit.
As a diy'er and feeling the effects of credit crunch, I decided to have a go at replacing the defunct motor of my dyson. I ordered the motor and within a few days the item was delivered, I printed the parts list off espares website which helped with the repair, a few hours later I was up and running. The whole experience was very satisfying.
The Dyson motor came very quickly - it wasn't easy to open up the Dyson and we couldn't find any instructions - not e-spares fault, but the motor went in with no trouble and works perfectly - saved me at least 100 pounds on the quoted repair. A bargain!

I didn't think our Dyson DC07 was a dud but fitting this new motor has been a revelation. Reviews all said that Dysons were noisy so for 2 years we put up with what we thought was the norm - how stupid are we!! The new motor is so quiet and smooth and will pick up anything! It was a doddle to fit (about 20 mins although I'd already got the old motor out) the only 'difficult bit' was refitting the clutch belt. Once I'd worked out how to do that putting all back together was a breaze. Beware though, you won't get any help from Dyson! However, manuals and diagrams are available elsewehere on the web. All in all better than the original and money well spent.

Dyson replacement motor

The motor replacement for my Dyson DC07 was a genuine dyson spare, and was fairly easy to fit, so long as you remembered how the motor housing etc came apart (you do need a long reach torx tool). Once replaced it has restored what was otherwise a cleaner in good condition, too good to consign to a skip.
Replacing the motor is about as big a job as you'll ever need to do on a vacuum cleaner but this was pretty easy.
Great that I didn't have to send the old cleaner to landfill. Great to save a packet on buying a new one. I'm delighted to have my old Dyson roaring like a Ferrari again (they are a bit loud). Thanks e-spares.
