Vacuum cleaner filters are among those things they should have developed permanent solutions for now; since they haven't, getting them from espares is as good as it gets!
When things like this get broken, you need a new one and despite attempts to bodge the old one I eventually decided to buy a new one - The trouble here is that this is verging on a sixth of the cost of the cleaner it fits in!! - still it arrived, it fitted and it works 'nuf said really
